How fast is DiscoverNet Satellite?
DiscoverNet Satellite has 512kbps download rate, comparable to traditional DSL service and much faster than dial-up service.

How hard is DiscoverNet Satellite to use?
It is quite simple after you are connected. After your system is set up, you don't have to worry about the connection; DiscoverNet Satellite software automatically manages it for you.

What are my computer system requirements for DiscoverNet Satellite?
DiscoverNet Satellite runs on PCs with Windows 2000 or Windows XP. This service is not compatible with Apple computers or Windows operating systems before Windows 2000.

Can I use DiscoverNet Satellite for online gaming?
We don't recommend DiscoverNet Satellite for online gaming (first person shooters, etc) because of the inherent ping latency between the DiscoverNet Satellite satellite and your dish. Other types of gaming, like Yahoo! games, work just fine on DiscoverNet Satellite.

What equipment is needed to get the DiscoverNet Satellite service?
You need a satellite dish and satellite modem (provided) as well as a traditional telephone modem, included in most computers. The satellite modem comes in two types, an internal PCI card and an external USB modem; ask us which is better for you when you order.

How quickly will I be up and running?
It takes approximately a week depending on installation.

Are there any cancellation fees?
There is a $200 early termination fee on one year contracts.
